Shortcuts are ignored while typing in any text field.

Coordinate readout

Hovering the canvas shows a small "(x, y)" tooltip at the cursor — snapped to the grid when the Point tool is active (matching exactly where a click would land), or the raw position otherwise.

Precise placement

While placing a Member/Cable, after picking the first point, use the "Precise member" panel to enter an exact Length and Angle instead of clicking a second point. Toggle Aligned / X-dist / Y-dist to dimension by the member's true length, its horizontal distance, or its vertical distance — all combined with the same angle.

Canvas navigation

Editing

The Points / Members / Forces lists in the sidebar let you rename, reposition, and delete anything after the fact — no need to redraw.

Undo / redo

Ctrl+Z to undo, Ctrl+Y (or Ctrl+Shift+Z) to redo. Covers every action, including "Clear all".

Solving

Click Solve to get member forces (tension/compression) and support reactions, along with the equations used to find them. If the result is indeterminate, pure statics can't fully solve it — reactions may still be shown if they're independently solvable. If it's unstable, the structure is a mechanism under this load.
