What this is
The exact same Python that ships in the bmech Blender extension runs unmodified in your browser via Pyodide, not a separate reimplementation. Nothing about the shape or your chosen dimensions is uploaded anywhere — the mesh is built and the STL is written entirely on your machine.
- The Housing tab's "Shaft Gears" fields drive a live preview of the two gears the housing is being sized around (amber, shown for reference only — not part of the downloaded STL). Center Distance and the wall's own inner clearance radius are derived from those gears' module and tooth counts, the same formula the Blender operator's own Match Target picker uses when you point it at two real gear objects.
- The preview gears are drawn at a fixed rotation (not phase-aligned to actually mesh tooth-to-tooth) — it's there to confirm the housing's own wall clears both gears' tip circles, not to animate them turning.
- The Lid tab is plain numeric inputs — in Blender, Match Target reads Center Distance / Housing OD Radius / Shaft Hole Ø / Segments straight off a built housing object's own stamped properties; here, type in the same four values from the Housing tab (or your own housing's dimensions) by hand.
- The Combo tab builds both parts off the SAME gear-driven footprint (no footprint fields to keep in sync by hand) and lays them out side by side — blue lid, gray housing — rather than assembled, and downloads both as one STL ready to arrange on a print bed.
- This is free during testing. If it turns into a paid product later, existing free downloads aren't retroactively affected.
